The key to fishing is location, location, location! Most of the outstanding fishing is found in the Sea of Cortéz which is 800 miles long and approximately 100 miles wide and then opens to the Pacific Ocean at Cabo San Lucas. This area is known worldwide for its abundance of big-game fish and year around superb fishing, Cabo San Lucas & Los Cabos fishing charters boast a number of international fishing records. Due to the fact that there are more striped marlin caught within a radius of twenty miles of Cabo San Lucas all year round, this area is known as the marlin capitol of the world. Dorado (mahi-mahi), wahoo and yellowfin tuna are plentiful and don't be surprised if you have one jump right into your boat! Catch and release is the name of the game for marlin fishing and other trophy fish. Mahi-mahi and tuna can be kept. The late Jacques-Yves Cousteau visited this fishing haven over twenty times and named the Sea of Cortéz the "world's aquarium".

CABOLERO

The Cabo has been described as the most perfect 31 ft sportfishing boat ever built, due to it’s many features: speed, the ability to turn on a dime, sleek lines, stability and thoughtful construction as well as an ideal fishing layout. The cockpit has a fighting chair, bait prep station, two large fish boxes for storing your catch and plenty of shaded seating. The main cabin has a double bed, shaped lounge that converts to sleeping berths for overnight trips, built in T.V, DVD, ceramic cook top, microwave refrigerator and teak cabinets. The bathroom is roomy and comes with a shower. The tuna tower gives the captain a vantage point to spot fish from. Full electronics are on board; GPS, Fish Finder, Radar, ship to shore radio and safety equipment. Engines are twin turbo Caterpillar 3126, known for their reliability. Fishing tackle is by Shimano and Penn ranging from light to heavy. Captain Guadalupe has over fifteen years experience in our waters. His largest fish to date is a 712 lb blue marlin. Guadalupe is a young captain with lots of energy who loves to fish, he speaks good English.

C-ROD

This 1997 vessel is in excellent condition, which is reflected throughout the whole boat. C- Rod has a top speed of 32 knots ensuring that you get to the fishing grounds in record time. The cockpit is spacious allowing for handling of large fish and features a professional fighting chair as well as a built in refrigerated fish box, keeping your table fish in optimum condition. The salon is fitted with comfy leather couches and is equipped with T.V, VCR, CD & DVD. C-Rod has air-conditioning throughout, so that you stay fresh even in the hottest weather. A few steps down from the salon are the dinette and galley, which has a refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave and range. There is a queen size bed and clean bathroom. Up on the bridge there is a shaded seating area for up to six guests. The boat has a GPS, water temperature gauge; Fish Finder, autopilot and two ship to shore radios. Fishing equipment is brand new and ranges from spinning tackle to 130’s Penn International and Shimano. Captain Abel Ramirez takes pride in his vessel and it shows. He has been fishing Cabo for over 15 years and goes out of his way to come back with flags flying. His fishing English is good and he has a pleasant personality.

Great Escape Junior

Considered by many sports fishing enthousiasts as the best sportfisher yacht ever built, the Great Escape Junior is a beautiful new 2007 Cabo vessel. This newly built yacht cruises at 26 knots and can reach a top speed of 35 knots while equipped with twin Cummins 550 engines. The spacious cockpit has a professional fighting chair with "rocket launchers", bait center, live well, refrigerated fish box and shaded sitting area. The salon is completely air-conditioned and has a dinette with seating for six, TV, satellite radio, galley and sound system. There are two staterooms the first has two bunks, the second is nicely appointed with a queen size bed with own TV. The Great escape Junior has a practical design, including shaded seating for guests up on the flybridge. Captain Ariel Rivero is bilingual having lived in the U.S for part of his life. His largest fish to date is a 667 lb blue marlin and he has placed both in the Bisbee and Gold Cup tournaments. You are guaranteed never a dull moment on any deep sea fishing excursions with Captain Rivero!

This vessel is a fast, super clean fishing machine. With two Cummins 430 Turbo charged engines, it’s no problem to get up over 25 knots and to the fishing grounds in record time. This vessel was recently refurbished and is custom designed for the serious fisherman. The large cockpit rivals that of larger boats and gives plenty of room to anglers when fighting a fish. A professional Pompanette fighting chair, plus two movable sail-fish chairs, ensure that everyone can be part of the action. The cabin is air-conditioned and is very practical and comfortable for getting out of the sun. Dinette, galley with microwave, bathroom with shower, comfy leather arm-chair, V-births and shaded fly-bridge with extra seating. Tackle ranges from 20 to 80 lb, Penn International and Shimano as well as spinning gear for light tackle. Captain Ricardo speaks good English and is dedicated to making your day a success. He is friendly and knowledgeable of the area and keeps his boat in pristine condition.

REEL HEAVEN

This beautiful vessel is kept in pristine shape and is very spacious. Powered with twin Man 1200 turbo engines no time is wasted getting to the fishing grounds with speeds of up to 35 knots. The large fully functional cockpit has a Blue Water fighting chair, along with two sailfish chairs. The salon has an “L” shaped leather couch and is nicely furnished. The comfy dinette can seat five and the galley is fitted with a dishwasher, trash compactor, microwave, stove, oven, refrigerator and freezer, as well as a water-maker. The whole vessel is fully air-conditioned. The master stateroom has a queen size bed with en suite bathroom, with full shower, TV and DVD player. The guest stateroom also has a queen size bed TV and DVD player and shares a full bathroom with the third stateroom, which has two bunks. The enclosed flybridge has a great seating area for guests and is also air-conditioned and outfitted with Furuno radar, Northstar GPS, digital sonar and radio. Fishing equipment is by Penn and Shimano ranging from 15 to 80 lb tackle. Captain Rafael Gastelum is a local fisherman that has fished the local waters all of his life; he has twenty-five years experience with his largest fish to date a 680 lb blue marlin. Rafael speaks good English, is friendly and dedicated to making your day a success.

LADY HOLLY

2004 model, we call the fishing theatre, this is a lean, fast fishing machine, that includes superior comfort and style. The first thing you notice aboard Lady Holly, is the amount of space and head room and the true square footage of this yacht, giving you lots of room. Done out in natural wood, this vessel gleams with “just out of the showroom” features. Four staterooms, large galley, comfy salon, plasma T.V, DVD player, sound system, full galley, on board P.C, plus a whole range of electronics. Fishing tackle is the best available ranging from 20 to 80 lb test. The split-level cockpit features dual in-transom bait tanks, huge fish hold, BBQ and day head – Tuna Tower and added seating outside, allow everybody aboard to be part of the action, while still be comfortable. Co-captains Graham and Gunnar are both from Oregon originally, but have extensive fishing knowledge of Cabo. Gunnar spent several years at Bahia de Los Suenos in Costa Rica honing his fishing skills.
